Last night I spoke to a large group of people, performing the public versions of the How To Have Tourette’s Series. I was simultaneously able to embarrass my mom with the tic simulator, talk about MC Hammer pants and the dangers of waking up in Junior High science class with every laughing at your little erec**** (SCANDAL) , get to meet some great people who have Tourette’s Syndrome, and get off the library desk for several hours. I also broke a bunch of stuff in a brief, half-intensity strongman performance.
It was really, really fun.
Now as you know, what I lack in looks, I make up for in sass. And today I am in such a good mood that I’m going to offer signed copies of The Knot from now until Monday. So this weekend you can get a signed copy of the ugly (physically–inside is a veritable wonderland of loveliness) self-published novel I wrote. That’s a $10 discount. If you click that link, it will take you to the post where I talked about why I wrote the book and what it means to me.
Due to non-demand, please limit your orders to 19 per customer.
Seriously though, if you would like a copy, please contact me and include Signed Copy of The Knot in the subject line.
My goal is to sell 500,000 of them today and not have to come to work next week. Please do your part:)
