The Final Saturday Post

Dear oddball reader,

I’ve decided to take weekends off from now on. Blog traffic round these parts absolutely dies on Saturday and Sunday. And the traffic that does arrive is from the search engines, and it comes these days whether I write or not. I’ve decided to follow your lead and flee the premises for 48 hours each week.

See you on Monday!

Josh

Good for you, Josh! Actions like this minimize blog burnout. 10 years of blogging — is it any wonder I only blog twice a week on average?

I like the idea of weekends off. You need some time away from the blog, it really does help prevent blogger burnout. I started a blog um, 12 years ago and posted multiple times a day for about two years then quit altogether because I was just done with it. My current blog if you’ve ever been to it I post maybe once a month because I’m just not a fan of writing blogs, but I love to read them.

Good deal. I’ve never really posted on the weekends. Instead I try to get a few posts written and scheduled for the week.

Enjoy the weekend. Happy Father’s Day!

Good for you. Weekends are a great time to rejuvenate and find different perspectives to make next weeks work easier and fresher. Enjoy.
BTW, I just recently found your blog and as I work with folks with physical and intellectual disabilities, I appreciate learning more about Tourette’s and about your self-motivation.
    Thanks

I don’t blog on weekends for the same reason and it gives me more time with the family….or cleaning…or even better cleaning with the family. 😀

    Happy Father’s Day!!!!

Thanks Jenn. I got bacon in bed this morning.
