How I Became A Stick Figure

by Josh Hanagarne on December 4, 2009

It was all too easy, and didn’t hurt a bit. Steven over at Human Explosion sent me a very interesting request for an interview a couple of weeks ago. I say interesting because a lot of Steven’s blogging work is accompanied by drawings. The interview would be no different. I would be one of eight subjects he was approaching for the project.

HEADER1

Yesterday he sent me the results, and I am thrilled to say that I am stunned and flattered by his work. And while it doesn’t make my legs look too flattering, my legs aren’t too flattering. They may actually be bigger in the drawings than in real life.

You can check out the interviews here. I’m second on the list. Please go say hi to Steven. If you’re lucky, he might draw a picture of you.

Hey Josh! Thanks for mentioning the my post on your site, I appreciate it.

If you want to do another interview, I’ll correct the width of those legs and make them thinner for you.

Ha! Brilliant! :)

PS: I think I am the “Josh” of the gals section… looking pretty tough, if I do say so.

I pulled a triple for 450 this week! My comic book alter-ego did not get the referred hormone burst.

Is that what your normal day looks like? You standing in front of a crowd showing off… your legs? ;)

No, most of the time I’m slouched behind a desk, staring into a computer, showing off my thinning hair to anyone who walks by.

What a great post, Josh! Steven has such an interesting and fun way of grabbing his readers’ attention. And thank you for the advice on changing our circumstances in situations where we think we have no control. Really helped me today.
