Stronger, Smarter, Better Newsletter

Hi everyone. Today’s an exciting day. The response to my humble little blog has been big enough that I’m starting a newsletter for the growing number of readers. You’ll be able to take advantage of the newsletter to enjoy some extra content that won’t be published on World’s Strongest Librarian.

Why should I subscribe?

The Stronger, Smarter, Better Newsletter will feature bonus content that will not appear elsewhere on World’s Strongest Librarian. The newsletter will include:

  • Podcasts, including the upcoming “How To Have Tourette’s Syndrome” series

  • Short stories – I love to write fiction as well as blog

Remember, although these items are consistent with what appears on the blog, many will only be available through the Newsletter.

Ready To Subscribe?

There are currently two ways to subscribe to the newsletter

  1. Enter your email into the form over in the sidebar where it says Newsletter and Your Email. Type in your email and you’ll receive instructions about the final step to subscribe.
  2. Click the Newsletter link at the end of each new post. Doing this will take you to the Subscription Page.

    Josh, Thanks for asking about my RKC prep — I think! I just had a mild set-back, which will keep me away from the KBs for a few days. I went 2 times through circuit that included 6 sets of squats and immediately jumped in my car and drove 5 hours (for business). This resulted in extremely tight glutes and now my left glute is in a full-blown spasm — surely I’m not getting old! However, I trying not to panic…trying! When my chiro gives the all clear I’ll focus on VWC for work capacity and presses to increase strength — hopefully I will be ready. Sorry for the long response, somtimes I get diarrhea of the keyboard, so my wife says! Thanks again, Steve

      Glad to hear that you’re optimistic about it. I hear that the adrenaline of the weekend plays a huge part, so hopefully you’ll find that any minor
      setback you’re experiencing will be taken care of, one way or another.

    I loved your “Twilight” review! I expected to see Edward at the end too!
    I am so loving this blog!

    I need to start a regime (sp?) at the gym (I do belong to 24 hours fitness — they have no idea who I am :-{ — my daughter can actually use my ID to get in when she visits from CO) — because of my age, and for my bones. I learned that today on TV. So besides all the other reasons, women my age fracture bones all the time & this bone loss is silent and scary.

    I want to be able to carry my grandsons!

      Thanks, Kathy. Let me know if you need any help getting started once you’re ready to start a program. There’s no reason you can’t age well. People who are stooped and hunched over in their later years are usually just tightening up from not using their bodies enough. Your grandsons want you to be able to carry them as well:)
