Paperback Release Date

Hi all, the paperback of The World’s Strongest Librarian will be released next Tuesday. The designers at Gotham Books did a lovely job and it’s a good-looking pile of pages.

You can view it over in the sidebar on the right side of this very screen. You can even click on it. And then, if it is the will of Odin, you can even buy it.

And it’s totally less than the hardcover!

Also, a thought for today. Someone recently asked me what I thought would make the world better. As if I know.

But I tried my best.

Here’s what I wish I had said.

If every single one of us was just a little bit nicer, more often, I don’t think it would hurt the situation any. It might even help. It might even help a lot.

An easy experiment to try!

I’m going to try.

Good news for you, a paperback means good sales, that lots people had read your amazing story and that many more will since the price is lower.
Being nicer is nice, I agree.

Tuesday’s my birthday! But of course, as a faithful reader, I bought the hardcover version ages ago.

    Word up, dawg. Congratulations!

Darn it, you kept me up last night..reading your book. My 5 year old son picked it out when he saw the cover at the Salt Lake County library. This is an amazing book and I’m glad it is out in paperback so I can encourage my friends to buy it. I may even pick up my own copy… will you do autographs at the City Library? Thanks for sharing your life and wisdom.

Another author I admire, Silvia Boorstein, asked the question, “How are we going to live our lives, inevitably challenged, gracefully, and with kindness and compassion?” Your book is a beautiful illustration of a response to that question. Thank you for writing it.

Oh, thank you Jeannie. So kind, and you’re welcome.

    Hi Josh
I picked your book up by chance in the library yesterday, and finished it today. I just wanted to say thank you – it’s a beautiful, honest, funny and moving book.
I also thought you might like to know your book made it to the shelves of a library in New Zealand!

Dude, what are you reading right now?

    • Josh Hanagarne May 16, 2014, 9:34 am

Reading a great book called The Unpersuadables by Will Storr.
