The Day I Arm Wrestled Stephen King

It went like this, intense at the start.

But then it ended up like this:

It was…how should I put it…fun. More fun than I thought I could have. Stephen is a wonderful person and now I have to go get ready for the event tonight.

I may never stop smiling.

Update: Here’s how the night ended:

    Hehe, that’s great! Congrats.

I am so jealous that you got to meet S.K.!! He was my first and still favorite author. I am currently re-reading the gunslinger series and love it, again. Plus, the latest Joe Hill. Check it out, it’s fabulous. I loved your book. I am a special ed teacher in Fountain Hills Arizona. If you ever come here, I invite you to participate in Zumba class and visit Liberty Wildlife. I will take you on a tour. I love your philosophy. My current one is: find inspiration every day and strive to inspire others. You are a great new find for me! ~Wendy

I so happy for you/I’m so insanely jealous 😉

“I so happy for you.” Nice grammar Jen 😉 You know what I meant!

You are so lucky. I think I dream about arm wrestling King all the time. Hope the events are going great.

Only way this could be better is if you had also leg wrestled!

Christa, the only stone injury I ever had was when I forgot to take my ring off and bent a finger backwards pretty badly. Technique is going to vary from person to person and body to body. One of the charms of stone lifting is that it’s almost impossible to lift a stone the same way twice. I’ve worked up to it slowly over the years and that’s about as responsible as you can be. I have a healthy respect for the weight, which in no way guarantees that injuries aren’t in my future.

Maybe I’ll start with a few pebbles 😉
