What I Found In A Local Bookstore

Saturday afternoon I was in The King’s English bookstore and I saw this big foam poster:

josh-wsl-poster

That’s me, my son, and my friend Aaron Cance, who has one of the greatest book minds I’ve ever encountered.

The publicity campaign is actually cranking up now, and it is incredibly surreal.  But fun, and exciting, and nerve-wracking.  Guess it’s too late to back out now!

I am a librarian in Arizona, and I’m about 2/3 of the way through an advance reader copy of your book. I want to say thank you for writing it. I usually read fiction, but I am so glad I received this book! Thank you for writing about your life. If you get down to Arizona, you have an invitation to speak at my library. I would love to have you here.

Thanks Ann, much appreciated. I’d love that as well, I’ll pass the invitation up the chain!

I ordered a copy – looking forward to it! Will there be an audio version?

Thanks Boris. Yes, there will be an audio version. You can see it on Amazon, but there’s no info yet on who narrated it. AudioGo was the company.

Surreal and exciting, I would imagine. That store looks awesome. Great Saturday fun!

It’s a great place. We bought Max a great book called I Want My Hat Back. Check it out.

The book or the store? I would like to do both, though I will probably get my hands on the book before I make it out to SLC.

Surreal. Stay grounded with your fame! 😉
Best of luck with the book.

Thanks Ara. It’s not tough to stay grounded working 40 hours a week at a public library.
