This page is going to serve as James Gleick books headquarters here on this blog. I’ve been a Gleick fan since reading Chaos. He is able to write science books that are accessible for a relative nitwit like yours truly, and he understands the importance of stories.
Here’s the list. As I read them, I’ll get brief reviews up on other pages, which this page will link out to.
List of James Gleick’s Books
The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood
Chaos: Making a New Science
Genius: The Life and Science of Richard Feynman
What Just Happened: A Chronicle From the Information Frontier
Faster: The Acceleration of Just About Everything
Any fans here? Got a favorite?
And if you want more on the man himself, here’s Gleick’s official website.
Alas, none of these are on my list of free Kindle books, but they’re worth paying for, or at least worth a trip to the library.
