Warrior
I love Mixed Martial Arts. I enjoy a decently made sports movie. I like Tom Hardy. Win!
And if Tom Hardy’s traps are any indication, he’ll have no trouble dealing with Batman on July 20.
Carnage
Four nasty adults saying nasty things to each other and behaving increasingly nastily to each other in a small apartment. They meet to discuss an incident that occurred between their sons. Things get ugly fast.
Janette hated it. I loved it. The writing is great, the actors look like they’re having a blast. Don’t go if you need fiery explosions in every movie.
Senna
Fascinating documentary about a Brazilian Formula 1 racer, Ayrton Senna.
The World According to Sesame Street
Documentary about how Sesame Street gets packaged and produced in other countries.
Hugo
Best movie I saw in 2011. I love Martin Scorcese and I love a good movie where there’s a character whose sole purpose is to catch orphans and twiddle his mustache.

“Wasteland” a documentary about an artist from Brooklyn named Vik Muniz who starts this project making beautiful art out of junk from the worlds largest landfill in Brazil near where he grew up. Fascinating story not only about the art he creates but the people who work at this landfill.
I like the sound of that one Dean. Sure it wasn’t about a guy from Iowa?

I recently saw Alien Vs. Predator (I know – some movies it takes me a while to get to). Liked it!
