This is the first week that I have been aware of Donny Shankle, a lifter who is ridiculously strong.
If you’ve never heard of a barbell complex, the Shankle complex is one. A complex just means stringing movements together without letting the bar go. In this video he pulls, does a triple of shrugs from the hang, then cleans, front squats, and eventually jerks the weight…with 200 kg!
He doesn’t make it look incredibly easy, but he makes it look easier than I could do with a fraction of the weight. Incredibly strong stuff.
