What are you Proud of in 2011?

Mountain-Dew-Diet

I broke up with Diet Mountain Dew - it was a year worth living

It’s been quite a year.

I am most proud of these two things: I was able to get more work done in 2011 than in any other year of my life without becoming a deadbeat, neglectful dad.

And: I’m still madly in love with my wife.

Nothing else matters that much, but since things are good at home, here’s the rest of it:

The blog continued to grow.

I made up with an old friend.

I sold my book! (out in 2013)

I finally got to meet my agent.

I squatted 375, at which point my lower back said “Maybe no more back squatting for a while.”

I spoke at three different conferences benefiting children with special needs.

I read at least three books each week.

I now floss religiously.

I had a good time and had very, very few moments of moping.

For 48 hours as of now, I am off of soda.

But overall I’m just happy that the people I love, love me back.

How about you? How did the year treat you?

Josh

Good to hear you’re off the diet soda, Josh. Aspartame has been implicated in serious health issues in some people.

    A few new songs.

Not much else. Maybe laying the groundwork for good change in 2012. But we’ll see what happens in 2012.

Hey Josh. Fantastic year! 2011 was better than 2010. Each year StrongerGrip grows. I’ve gone primal. Eating healthy meats, veggies and having a blast cooking! No energy drinks for going on 3 months. That includes sodas or anything of that nature. I’ve never felt better. Grip keeps improving and am excited to take on the New Year. You and your family have a Merry Christmas!

You too, Ryan, thank you! And I need a grip ball, but I’ll send you an email about that.
