Who Wrote Alice in Wonderland?

The biography of Lewis Carroll - a very good read

It’s been a happy morning. Some astute teacher out there is assigning their kids to read the Alice books. The first question I got today was: “Yeah, I need to know who wrote Alice in Wonderland, and do you have it?”

The book referred to was written by Lewis Carroll (actually named Charles Lutwidge Dodgson).

The title of the book is actually Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

If you enjoy that one, I highly recommend the followup, Through the Looking-Glass.

Lewis Carroll was an interesting man. His biography by Morton Cohen is a fantastic read if you’re into logic, riddles, you have heard some of the controversy surrounding Carroll and his relationships with young girls, or you just love biographies.
