Add the Bulgarian split squat to whatever you know about Bulgaria. This is another great way to get in squat work when whatever your preferred squatting exercise isn’t treating you that well. I work these in whenever I can’t do back or front squats, or when I’m doing a bilateral focus.
I agree with everything said in the video below as a good starting point, but don’t worry if you can’t make it look exactly like the demo. Do what feels good and you’ll find the keys that will unlock a lot of your limitations and help you move past them.
